At A Loss For Wars
`
`
[Note. I wrote this post early this morning, but was
called away before posting it. I have carefully read
this afternoon's Transcript of President Bush’s News
Conference With Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki
of Iraq. I see no reason to alter the post.]
`
On the 29th the NY Times ran the text of a memo pre-
pared by The Liar's national security adviser. [1]
`
The adviser claims "The answers to these questions
are key in determining whether we have the right
strategy in Iraq."
`
The questions:
`
"Do we [= The Superpower] and Prime Minister Maliki
[= maybe its puppet, maybe Iran's puppet] share the
same vision for Iraq?
`
"If so, is he able to curb those who seek Shia hegemo-
ny or the reassertion of Sunni power?"
`
That the adviser apparently isn't aware that last Feb-
ruary Iran publicly declared war on The Superpower--
by way of telling The Poodle to get out of Basra--illus-
trates a feature of The Superpower's decline: internal
brain drain. [2]
`
The adviser met with Maliki in Baghdad a while ago.
Maliki fed him ear food. "Maliki reiterated a vision of
Shia, Sunni, and Kurdish partnership...." Partnership,
federation --these are code words for setting up mini
statelets in what was once Iraq.
`
That's Maliki's --Iran's-- invitation for a compromise
-- a daggers-drawn compromise-- between Iran and
The Superpower.
`
That's about as far as curbing Shia hegemony -- or to
talk about real things: Iran's sway-- is likely to go, and
it'll be as temporary as expediency can make it.
`
As for the reassertion of Sunni power --or to speak of
real things: victory of the Iraqi Resistance-- that's well
underway.
`
SEND MORE TROOPS FAST!
`
Internal brain drain says so.

System Failure - Part 2
`
`
On Monday November 27th in Manchester NH at the
annual First Amendment award dinner, ex-"Prez"
Gingrich shamelessly dropped a system-failure bomb.
`
A local newspaper reports what the ex-"Prez" said:
`
"...a 'different set of rules' may be needed to reduce
terrorists' ability to use the Internet and free speech
to recruit and get out their message."
`
Merely Simpsonizing the Bill of Rights in a cut and run
sort of way is too little. The Superpower needs more:
`
OUTRIGHT DEmockRACY !
`
`
Gingrich has dropped system-failure bombs before.
`
From the first System Failure post, Monday January
30, 2006:
`
{start}
`
Ex-"President" Gingrich speaks!
`
"I'm going to talk at length about the need for us to
rethink not just [Abramoff-style] lobbying but the
whole process of elections, incumbency protection
and the way in which the system has evolved.
`
"Which is very different from the way the American
system is supposed to be like."
`
American system? Not really.
`
Rather, The Superpower system:
`
NO ELECTIONS, not fake ones.
`
APPOINTED CLONES, not loose cannons elected by
The Evil People.
`
Hurrah!
`
`
Ex-"President" Gingrich speaks!
`
"Things have to be done to really rethink where the
center of the political process is.
`
"Right now, the center is a lobbying and PAC...sys-
tem center, which is not healthy."
`
Really rethink?
`
DOWN with America's Declaration of Independence.
`
UP with The Superpower's
`
DECLARATION OF WORLD $$$$LAVERY!

Contagious
`
`
50 Shots Fired, and the Experts Offer a Theory
`
Under that headline the NY Times explains:
`
"It is known in police parlance as 'contagious shooting'
— gunfire that spreads among officers who believe that
they, or their colleagues, are facing a threat.
`
"It spreads like germs, like laughter, or fear." [1]
`
Essentially true, contagion theory is way too modest.
`
How's that?
`
French police the target in urban guerrilla war
`
Under that headline Reuters reports:
`
"Stoned, beaten and insulted, their vehicles torched by
crowds of hostile youths, French police say they face
an urban guerrilla war when they enter the run-down
neighborhoods that ring the major cities."
`
Reuters quotes the general secretary of a police union:
`
"The simple presence of men in uniforms in some areas
is no longer a provocation but a declaration of war in
the minds of some louts."
`
Even so, such contagion practice is way too restrictive.
`
It emphasizes territory rather than right-now payback.
`
Suppose 50 shots fired in Staten Island, a sniper on call
in Queens takes out a man in uniform there.
`
Suppose 50 shots fired in Pittsburgh, a sniper on call in
Atlanta takes out an official of any kind there.
`
Whoa, that's talking about home-grown terrorism.
`
Well, we can't have that!
`
Nor should we have
`
FIFTY SHOTS FIRED.

A Significant Change
`
`
Iraqi Resistance Report (IRR) for events of Saturday,
25 November 2006 reports:
`
"To forestall Iran's attempt to replace America as co-
lonial power in Iraq, the Iraqi Resistance continues its
offensive against pro-Iranian as well as US and pro-US
groups and facilities."
`
"...the puppet regime 'Interior Minister' personnel must
all be treated on the assumption that they were mem-
bers of the Shi'i sectarian militias such as the Jaysh al-
Mahdi and the Badr Brigades." [1]
`
This is only after:
`
"Pro-Iranian cleric Muqtada as-Sadr issues ultimatum
to Sunni leaders, demanding that they declare Iraqi Re-
sistance, Saddam Husayn, Baath Party all 'infidels.'"
`
"...for a long time Muqtada as-Sadr pretended to be in-
terested in the unity of the Iraqi people and in avoiding
sectarian bloodshed. But today [Friday the 24th] with
this statement he clearly revealed his true and entirely
sectarian identity...[an identity] in service to the region-
al hegemonist regime of Iran that is striving to step into
the shoes of US imperialism in Iraq." [2]
`
`
AP reports:
`
"Bush...plans to meet with al-Maliki on Wednesday and
Thursday in Jordan." [3]
`
In Jordan?
`
The November 25th IRR reports:
`
"...US effort to put together 'Iraqi national salvation
government' including Sunni former Iraqi Army officers
to replace Nuri al-Maliki regime."
`
"...the Americans staged an airborne landing on the
house belonging to the general in as-Saqlawiyah and
made it appear to be an arrest. He was 'arrested'
from his home in the middle of the night but several
days later contacted his family and told them that he
was in Jordan and that they [the former Iraqi Army
officers] were receiving information from American
officials...." [1]

Simpsonizing The Bill Of Rights
`
`
The black community got behind OJ and saw to it that
he had the best defense team ever.
`
Result: the jury found OJ innocent.
`
Well, we can't have that!
`
So another community got behind those outraged by
the verdict and saw to it that (a) the very idea of a
fair trial got maligned and (b) the very idea of juries
got maligned and (c) OJ was prevented from paying
his best defense team ever by stripping him of most of
his assets.
`
Now, years later, the same community has prevented
folks from reading OJ's book and prevented folks from
seeing what he had to say for himself on TV.
`
Result: the Simpsonizing of the Bill of Rights.
`
But what in particular may have motivated this latest
outburst of hatred?
`
Some time ago Britain's most prominent historian filed
suit against someone he thought had libelled him.
`
In that case another community got behind the defen-
dant and saw to it that she had the best defense team
ever.
`
Result: the judge found for defendant and the histor-
ian was stripped of most of his assets.
`
The point?
`
If OJ is permitted to "rehabilitate" himself, who knows
what the follow-up to the gang-up on Britain's most
prominent historian might be?
`
So cut off that possibility at the pass by

Waiting For The Crow Breaker
`
`
On Wednesday, October 18, 2006 Associated Press
reported "Bush has signed an order asserting the
United States' right to deny adversaries access to
space for hostile purposes." [1]
`
`
"'Crow Breaker' appears to refer to Yi I, an archer
during the reign of the legendary Chinese emperor
Yao in the third millenium B.C.
`
"According to a famous tale, Yi saved the world by
shooting down nine of ten suns that suddenly ap-
peared in the sky together one day and were
`
SETTING FIRE TO CROPS AND TREES.
`
"The nine extra suns
`
TURNED OUT TO BE CROWS,
`
whence Yi's nickname." [2]

The Harder Line - Part 3
`
`
In my Monday June 12, 2006 essay "Two Reminders
For The Loose Cannon," I wrote:
`
"The Superpower has become so dangerous, that
mutual assured destruction is now accepted and is
no longer a factor in decision-making." [1]
`
Here's how Putin restated that fact in his Thursday
November 16, 2006 Closing Address at the Meeting
with the Armed Forces’ Command Staff:
`
"For us, this idea of maintaining the strategic balance
will mean that our strategic deterrence forces must
be capable of destroying any potential aggressor, no
matter what modern weapons system this aggressor
possesses.
`
"Only the guaranteed possibility of destroying such
an aggressor can ensure Russia’s strategic security in
a long-term perspective." [2]
`
`
Now you know what "strategic balance" means.
`
Now you know what "long-term perspective" means.
`
O how fortunate you are!

The Superpower’s Black Magic

The Superpower's Black Magic
`
`
The General Assembly of the UNO on November 9th
voted 183 to 4 (with 1 abstention) for a resolution con-
demning The Superpower's blockade of Cuba.
`
Well, we can't have that!
`
So three days later The Superpower's Ministry of Drums
and Flutes passed a tip to its media: "U.S. Thinks Castro
Has Terminal Cancer." [1]
`
In ancient Japan the oldest layer of penal law, the in-
fractions against tribal land, included penalties against
black magic --for instance, putting one's excrements
into places belonging to others. [2]
`
The Superpower is reduced to practising black magic.
`
And it's doing so not just against Cuba, but againt all
the rest of the world: "The CIA's Office of Medical Ser-
vices...studies hair and other biological samples [=
excrements] for hints about world leaders' health...."
[3]
`
The topic of mental health is avoided.

POLITICAL ESSAYS
The Harder Line - Part 2
`
`
Today Putin spoke to the staff at the Chief Intelligence
Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff:
`
"We need to be fully aware that the potential for con-
flict in the world is on the increase."
`
Using diplomatic lie-language--
`
"The international community finds itself a situation in
which factors of force are dominating in international
relations,
`
"a situation where relations are being undermined by
unilateral action – action that is not legitimate in inter-
national law – undertaken by a number of countries,
`
"and by attempts by some countries to unceremonious-
ly impose their positions without taking into account at
all the legitimate interests of other partners.
`
"And you know what means states make use of when
carrying out such action: the economy, political and dip-
lomatic means, and a monopoly on the world media."
`
`
In other words, The Superpower is the main enemy of
the peoples of the world --and the Russian Federation
means to make use of that fact for its own ends.
`
`
Again using diplomatic lie-language--
`
"The threat of a global conflict has been reduced to a
minimum today, and this is indeed the case. The sys-
tem of international relations ensures an unprecedent-
ed level of mutual controls and confidence in the mili-
tary sphere.
`
"At the same time, however, we see that not only are
the leading countries not giving up arsenals that are
well above what is needed for their actual defence,
but, on the contrary, are constantly modernising them,
including offensive weapons."
`
`
In other words, The Superpower is the main enemy of
the peoples of the world --and the Russian Federation
means to make use of The Superpower's folly for its
own ends.
`
`
Still using diplomatic lie-language--

Putin also speaks of "international terrorist groups"
(the peoples of the Caucasus) and "blows dealt to the
non-proliferation control regime" "in direct proximity to
our borders" (the DPRK).
`
`
The ellipsis toward the end the text indicates that Putin
then dropped diplomatic lie-language and got down to
`

How To Get Out Of Iraq - Part 2
`
`
On November 4, 2006 Putin met with the Russian
Federation's Director of the Border Guards Service.
`
During the get-together, the director excitedly told
Putin:
`
"We just literally returned from a meeting with the
leaders of the coast guards of the northern part of
the Pacific Ocean, namely from the USA, China, Can-
ada, Japan, South Korea and Russia.
`
"It was quite a serious meeting.
`
"Within that forum our information system that oper-
ates within this region was officially accepted [as
part of these leaders'] equipment.
`
"This is our software, it is a completely closed system,
and it is used both for bilateral cooperation as well as
for multilateral cooperation."
`
Note that the leader of the coast guard of the Demo-
cratic Peoples Republic of Korea is not included in
this conspiration.
`
Time out for background.
`
Another round of Six Party Talks is to take place.
`
Pitched sea battles between the coast guards of the
DPRK and south Korea in the waters off the west
coast of the DPRK have repeatedly taken place.
`
A November 1st DPRK commentary denounced The
Superpower's "criminal acts of egging the south
Korean army on to confrontation with fellow coun-
trymen...." The next day: "by inveigling south Korea
into the maneuvers of sanctions and blockade."
`
As for the talks.
`
November 4th: "It is the view of the DPRK that since
the U.S. attends the six-party talks, there is no need
for Japan to participate in them...because it is no
more than a state of the U.S. and it is enough for
Tokyo just to be informed of the results of the talks
by Washington."
