The Syrian Arab Army has made a new victory against terrorism along with the restoration of security and stability to Homs province.

After al-Qseir, al-Qaryatin and Tal-Kalakh, the Syrian Arab Army restored security to al-Khalediya neighborhood after it has been *for several months* a stronghold for the [World Tyrant/NATO] armed terrorist groups.

After *two years of suffering sustained by the locals of Homs* because of the armed terrorist groups, the armed forces eliminated the [World Tyrant/NATO] Takfiri terrorism in al-Khalediya neighborhood.

In a statement to SANA, a field commander *saluted the brave soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army* who forced the terrorists out of the neighborhood, pointing out…the importance of liberating this area in blocking the supply roads for the armed terrorist groups.

The commander said the purge operation was carried out through three stages;

the first stage was retaking control of the southern part of the neighborhood and blocks overlooking Khalid bin al-Walid Mosque;

the second stage was retaking control over Beit al-Alo Park, al-Hafyan roundabout and the surrounding of the Mosque, and

the third stage was eliminating the terrorists through the hard strikes of the army.

For his part, Head of the National Reconciliation Committee, Sheikh Saleh al-Nouaimi, expressed the happiness of the Syrian people over the achievements of the Syrian Arab Army on the ground.

He added that the residents of the neighborhood started communications with the committee as to coming back to their homes.

Analysts pointed out that the liberation of al-Khalediya which is located at the center of the old city of Homs and a stronghold for terrorists’ leaders means

cutting the supply roads for terrorists and

controlling one of the most important headquarters for terrorist operation commands.

They added that this achievement would further escalate *the dramatic collapse of terrorists* and would force them to surrender their weapons.

Leaders of the anti-Morsi [ant-Muslim Brotherhood] ‘Rebel’ (Tamarod) campaign met with European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton in Cairo on Monday and stressed they reject “deals” and [especially a deal for] a safe exit for Mohamed Morsi and other leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Everyone involved in bloodshed must be subject to a fair trial,” Mahmoud Badr, one of the leaders of Rebel said, according to a statement on the group’s official website.

“We asked her if she would personally accept an armed sit-in to be set up under [around] her house, one that would force her to go to her home before [after!] being searched thoroughly and would turn the gardens surrounding her house to places for people to sleep, and would construct toilets in them [the gardens],” read the statement.

Badr said the delegation told the EU’s top diplomat that the Egyptian people respect those who respect their will and “*all* countries must respect our will [including The World Tyrant/NATO].”

[Excerpts]

On Sunday,…President Adly Mansour issued a decree granting [Prime Minister Hazem] El-Beblawi certain presidential powers to use three articles of Emergency Law No.162.

“The transfer of the authority to declare a state of emergency from the president to the prime minister doesn’t mean the [imminent] announcing of [state of emergency],” explained El-Beblawi during a press conference.

El-Beblawi asserted that the government is keen on applying existing laws and will not take any “extraordinary measures” *unless necessary*.

“Authorising me with some of the president’s specialities is a normal act,” said El-Beblawi.

Mansour’s decision came in response to the “expectations of the people, added the 76-year-old prime minister, in reference to wide public support for the government’s current crackdown on [Muslim Brotherhood] “terrorism”

The interim PM further pointed out that the authorisation does not mean that the president is giving up his powers.

In response to a question on the deteriorating economic situation in Egypt, El-Beblawi stressed that *any economic decision made will be meaningless as long as people feel insecure*.

“There is no solution to the economic problem unless the security problem is solved,” added El-Beblawi.

“The UGTT [Tunisian General Labor Union] calls for dissolving the current [Muslim Brotherhood] government and creating a technocrat government led by an independent figure,” secretary Hussein Abbassi said in statement.  “We consider this government incapable of continuing its work.”

The UGTT is a powerful force in Tunisia, with around 600,000 members it can call on to strike.

“We propose maintaining the Constituent Assembly but…with a time frame to speed up completion of its work,” Abbassi said.

“We will be proposing this to all political parties because there is a need to clear the political bottleneck in this country.”
