06 05 13 Superpower Death Watch

ITEM 1 ============================================

Following U.S. [World Tyrant] Power Politics Is Crime

To follow the U.S. [World Tyrant] high-handed politics is leading the world to crime and death. But not a small number of countries and even the nations [Capitalist China, The New Russian Empire] calling for international impartiality and justice are chiming in with it, for the mere imminent [immediate] interests.

We should not overlook the high-handed politics and tyranny of the U.S. [The World Tyrant] any longer.

The U.S. [World Tyrant] wild ambition to dominate the world remains unchanged.  It is proved well by its nuclear policy.

When the U.S. [The World Tyrant] succeeded in nuclear test in July 1945, the then President Truman raved that from now on the world will be under the jackboots of the United States [soon to become The World Tyrant August 6, 1945].

The U.S. [The World Tyrant] has made its appearance as “sole superpower” following the end of the Cold War [the collapse of the FAKE Soviet Union (1956-1991)].  Since then, its high-handedness has reached to the extreme pitch.

Bush I, ex-U.S.[World Tyrant] president, raved to the following effect: We must rule the world.  It is why ours is the only super-power with necessary means.

It is the silly talk of the fool obssessed by megalomania that no country could match the United States [The World Tyrant] with mighty military power.

In fact the balance of power was destroyed and the object for military race disappeared [the collapse of the FAKE Soviet Union (1956-1991)].  Taking advantage of this opportunity, the United States is behaving imprudently, putting forward the goal of making the world [a] unipolar one and americanizing it [= leading the world to crime and death].

What is more dangerous is that the U.S. [The World Tyrant] is usurping the United Nations and other international organizations as tools to realize its policies of aggression and war, interference in internal affairs of sovereign countries, sanctions and pressure.

It has been well known in the world [as] a fact that today the strong-arm politics and tyranny of the United States [The World Tyrant] are unprecedentedly aggravating confrontation and tension and creating confusion on the international arena.

Following the U.S. [World Tyrant] power politics is a dangerous act fanning the effort to turn the international relations into one of domination and subordination.

To blindly follow the brigandish high-handedness of the United States [The World Tyrant] is precisely [a] self-destruction act.

Even though the United States [The World Tyrant]  and some specific nations [Capitalist China, The New Russian Empire] adopt what they call resolutions with the power politics, it will by no means become righteous.  When the resolutions of the UNSC are devoid of impartiality, they will become unjust ones, which will be accused in the world as ones going against the trend of the times.

The only way to be taken by the progressives of the world who love justice and peace is to decisively frustrate the strong-arm politics of the United States [The World Tyrant].

Nuke missile crews cite morale-sapping pressures

Taken together, the complaints suggest sagging morale in arguably the most sensitive segment of the American military.  The 91st [Missile Wing] at Minot [Air Force Base ND] operates 150 intercontinental ballistic missiles –one-third of the entire ICBM force.  The missiles stand in underground silos on constant alert for launch within minutes of a presidential order.

In the nuclear missile business, morale is not a trivial matter.  Mental state is treated as a vital sign –like physical health, criminal record and technical knowhow– that must be monitored to indicate whether an individual is fit to be trusted with weapons of such destructive power.

The question of morale at Minot coincides with trouble inside the ranks of the 91st.  The Associated Press reported on May 8 that 17 launch crew members –representing about 10 percent of the launch crew force– had been taken off duty for remedial training following a poor showing in a key portion of an inspection.

Last week the Air Force said two additional launch officers at Minot had been sidelined, for a total of 19.

The AP obtained a second internal Air Force email describing morale issues at Minot, which were hinted at broadly in the first email [dated April 12].

The second…email, dated March 21, said complaints were registered in a confidential study initiated by the Air Force’s most senior officer, Gen. Mark Welsh, who was considering “solutions to our problems.”  The study was done between December 2012 and February 2013 by the Rand Corp., a federally funded think tank that Welsh enlisted to study workforce issues inside the three missile wings, including the one at Minot.

[World Tyrant] govt obtains wide AP phone records in probe

The [World Tyrant] Justice Department *secretly* obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative’s top executive called a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into how news organizations [= not just AP] gather the news.

The records obtained by the [World Tyrant] Justice Department listed

incoming and outgoing calls, and

the duration of each call,

for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters,

[and for] general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and

the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery,

according to attorneys for the AP.

In all, the government [The World Tyrant] seized those records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists *in April and May of 2012*.

[ Pantocles Obama’s street-fighter govt didn’t notify AP of the *secret* seizures until Friday, May 10, 2013, over a year after April 2012. ]

The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown but more than 100 journalists work in the offices whose phone records were targeted on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.

In a letter of protest sent to Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday [May 13, 2012,] AP President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Pruitt said the government sought and obtained [seized] information far beyond anything that could be justified by any specific investigation.

He demanded the return of the phone records and destruction of all copies.

“There can be no possible justification for such an overbroad collection of the telephone communications of The Associated Press and its reporters.

“These records

potentially reveal communications with confidential sources across *all* of the newsgathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period [last year],

provide *a road map to AP’s newsgathering operations*, and

disclose information about AP’s activities and operations that *the government has no conceivable right to know*,” Pruitt said.

Commander sees attitude problem with missile crew

It was an attitude problem, Air Force commanders insisted, not a matter of competence.  And besides, they contended, security was never at risk in spite of what one commander called “rot” in the crew force.

Assurances aside, the crew’s failings appear unusually worrisome given its assignment: manning a nuclear missile base and being prepared at a moment’s notice to launch a Minuteman 3 if ordered by the president.

An investigation had revealed a force in disarray and resulted in the unprecedented removal of 17 launch officers  from their duty at Minot Air Force
Base, N.D., The Associated Press found.

Weapons safety rules were being violated and codes for the Air Force’s most powerful nuclear missiles may have been compromised, among other failings cited in a report.

Even the orders of superiors were being questioned, and they were not being shown the proper respect.

“We are, in fact, in a crisis right now,” Lt. Col. Jay Folds, deputy commander of the 91st Operations Group, told subordinates in an email obtained by the AP.

The group is responsible for all Minuteman 3 missile launch crews at Minot.

In his email, Folds lamented the remarkably poor reviews the launch officers received in a March inspection.  Their missile launch skills were rated
“marginal,” which the Air Force told the AP was the equivalent of a “D” grade.

General orders extra review of nuke crew failings

Gen. Robert Kehler, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, told a House Armed Services panel that the Air Force assured him it is searching for root causes of the problem among missile launch officers at Minot Air Force Base, N.D.

Kehler said he has told the Strategic Command’s inspector general to review the results of the Minot inspection, which was performed by the Air Force Global Strike Command.  That command is responsible for the missile unit’s training and readiness but would cede responsibility for them to Strategic Command in time of war.

At a separate House Appropriations Commiteee hearing Thursday, the Air Force chief of staff, Gen. Mark Welsh, found himself on the defensive over the Minot issue.

Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-N.J., told Welsh that if the Minot problem had happened in the Navy’s nuclear force, the individuals involved would have been dismissed.

Welsh said Minot commanders were “concerned they were not taking the job seriously enough.”

“We are, in fact, in a crisis right now,” Lt. Col. Jay Folds, a deputy commander at Minot, told subordinates in the April 12 email.  His group is responsible for all Minuteman 3 missile launch crews at Minot.

[World Tyrant] Gov’t obtains wide AP phone records in probe

In *the letter notifying the AP, which was received Friday [05 10 13]*, the [World Tyrant] Justice Department offered no explanation for the seizure, according to [AP President and Chief Executive Officer Gary] Pruitt’s letter and attorneys for the AP.

The records were presumably obtained from phone companies earlier this year although the government letter did not explain that.

The letter notifying AP that its phone records had been obtained through subpoenas was sent Friday by Ronald Machen, the U.S. [World Tyrant] attorney in Washington.

William Miller, a spokesman for Machen, said Monday that in general the U.S. attorney follows “all applicable laws, federal regulations and Department of Justice policies when issuing subpoenas for phone records of media organizations.”

But he would not address questions about the specifics of the AP records.

ITEM 4 ——————————————–

Gary Pruitt’s letter to Dear General Holder

We regard this action by the Department of Justice as a serious interference with AP’s constitutional rights to gather and report the news.

While we evaluate our options we urgently request that you immediately return to the AP the telephone toll records that the Department subpoenaed and destroy all copies.

At a minimum, we request that you take steps to segregate these records and prohibit any reference to them pending further discussion and, if it proves necessary, guidance from appropriate judicial authorities.

We also ask for an immediate explanation as to why this extraordinary action was taken, and a description of the steps the Department will take to mitigate its impact on AP and its reporters.

Given the gravity of this situation, I look forward to your prompt response.
