Lebanese Source.  Gangs Loot [Steal] Pickups to Sell them to [The World Tyrant’s] Armed groups in Syria

===================================================

A Lebanese informed security source revealed that looting [stealing] pickups in Beirut and selling them to members of the [World Tyrant’s] armed groups which carry out terrorist acts in Syria [has] became a phenomenon.

In a statement to the Private “Voice of Lebanon Radio” on Wednesday, the source underlined that the police stations of al-Shayah and Ain al-Rumaneh in Beirut were informed lately of the *spreading* of that phenomenon, which means that there are gangs searching about [for] such kind of cars [pickups].

It added that the [Beirut] gangs intend to sell the stolen…[pickups to] the [World Tyrant’s] armed groups in Syria where they [The World Tyrant’s terrorists] use them as vehicles to install small mortars on

Syrian rebels [World Tyrant terrorists] sidetracked by scramble for spoils of war

Looting, feuds and divided loyalties threaten to destroy unity of fighters [World Tyrant terrorists] as war enters new phase

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It wasn’t the government that killed the Syrian rebel [World Tyrant terrorist] commander Abu Jameel.  It was the fight for his loot.  The motive for his murder lay in a great warehouse in Aleppo which his unit had captured a week before.  The building had been full of rolled steel, which was seized by the fighters as spoils of war.

But squabbling developed over who would take the greater share of the loot and a feud developed between commanders.  Threats and counter-threats ensued over the following days.

Abu Jameel survived one assassination attempt when his car was fired on.  A few days later his enemies attacked again, and this time they were successful. His bullet-riddled body was found, handcuffed, in an alley in the town of al-Bab.

The war in Aleppo is not only funded by what can be appropriated by the various units, but also by the patronage that they can attract from sponsors outside Syria [The World Tyrant/NATO], a factor which has also contributed to the myriad forming and re-forming of units, all of which control individual fiefdoms in the city.

One Friday afternoon after prayers a group of the most senior commanders fighting in Aleppo, 32 in all, gathered in part of a sprawling former government compound

“Brothers, we have a grave situation ahead of us,” interjected Abdul-Jabbar Akidi, a defected colonel [a traitor] who leads the military council of Aleppo.

“The battle has stagnated here,” he said.  “There has been no real progress on the fronts and that has affected our sponsors [The World Tyrant/NATO], who haven’t been sending us ammunition.

“Even the people are fed up with us.  We were liberators, but now they denounce us and demonstrate against us.”

Turkish PM [Erdogan] accuses CHP [Turkey’s Republican People’s Party] of abusing student protests

___________________________________________________

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday maintained his harsh language over last week’s student protests during his visit to the Middle East Technical University (ODTU) just hours before he met with ODTU rector Ahmet Acar.  He attempted to legitimize the police violence at the ODTU campus by suggesting that it was students who had provoked the police in the first place to use disproportionate force.  At the same time as Erdogan’s meeting with the rector, students in several cities staged demonstrations to protest rectors who sided with Erdogan over student protests.

While reiterating his resentment over academics’ support of the students at ODTU, Erdogan blamed the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) for praising violence and provoking student protests.

“God forbid, if another political party puts its own masses in front of those students, what will the CHP chair then say, how will he give account of his irresponsibility?” Erdogan said, while calling on the CHP and the media to avoid exploiting the student protests.

[ Erdogan is calling for street fighting between his fascist thugs and the Turkish students

just as Hitler called for street fighting between his Nazi thugs and the German workers

which back then helped bring about the collapse of the post-World War I Weimar Republic. ]

[Turkish] Foreign policy even more ‘troubled’ than [during] Cold War

—————————————————

[Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deputy Chair Faruk] Logoglu, speaking at a press conference in Parliament, argued that the [Erdogan] government was informing neither Parliament nor the public on important issues [foreign and domestic], and was even “misinforming” them on the same subjects.

*Protection of secular democracy* should be the number one priority for Turkey in 2013, Logoglu said.

“Democracy in the understanding of a prime minister [Erdogan] who sees *separation of powers* as an obstacle is very flawed.”
