Taking Away, Putting In Place - Part 3
`
`
In part 2 I quoted excerpts from Nadim Shehadi's
article, "Israel Should Pack Up And Go," published
Tuesday August 15, 2006 in the Israeli newspaper
Haaretz.
`
Shehadi's suggestion that "Israel must do itself and
others a favor and go away" may seem severe to
some --but, really, it's plain common sense.

Associated Press
Man Who Harassed Black Neighbor Ordered to Move
`
"A white St. Albans [WV] man who waved a gun at
his black neighbor, yelled racial slurs and threatened
to run him off has agreed to move."
`
"[WV Deputy Attorney General] Sheridan said it is
unusual for a civil rights order to require someone to
move away, but [Romie] Dailey was unwilling to live
peacefully next to a black neighbor."
`
The civil rights order, Sheridan said, "safeguards the
[Bryan] Smith family and sends a message to racists."
